Outcome notifications

Outcome notifications of regular abstracts are expected to be made available to first authors and submitters by beginning of May 2024.

Presentation and publication of accepted abstracts

The ESMO Gynaecological Cancers Congress 2024 Scientific Committee will select abstracts for presentation during the Congress and determine the format of the presentations from the following possibilities:

• Proffered Paper – Oral presentations by authors presenting original data of superior quality, followed by expert discussion and perspectives. 
• Mini Oral – Short oral presentations by authors presenting data of good quality, followed by expert discussion and perspectives.
• Poster – Display session for review, discussion and questions. The presenting authors must be available for Q&A to represent their work.

All accepted abstracts, will be published online in the ESMO Gynaecological Cancers Congress 2024 Abstract Book, a supplement to the official ESMO journal, ESMO Open.

Publication schedule of accepted abstracts

Abstracts accepted for presentation during the ESMO Gynaecological Cancers Congress 2024 Congress will be released online according to a schedule which will be available on the ESMO website in due time.

ESMO Merit Travel Grant

A restricted number of ESMO Merit Travel Grants to the ESMO Gynaecological Cancers Congress 2024 are available, upon application, to first author (= presenter) who submit abstracts considered to be deserving of recognition. Candidates must be ESMO Members under the age of 40. Selection will be made by the ESMO Gynaecological Cancers Congress 2024 Scientific Committee on a competitive basis from among the accepted abstracts.

Please note that until 22 May an onsite registration can be changed to online and vice versa, at no additional fee.

Registration fees and deadlines

Individual registration will remain open for the duration of the congress. The ESMO Congress Secretariat must receive one completed registration per participant and the corresponding payment in EUR by the given deadlines.

ESMO membership must be active seven (7) days prior to the registration deadline for the reduced member registration fee to be applied. Please visit the membership page to check eligibility criteria, benefits, and to complete the membership application.

* Applicable to ESMO Members from developing countries only. At the time of application, developing countries are defined by ESMO according to the World Bank classification of low, lower-middle and upper-middle countries based on the Gross National Income (GNI) per capita. Download the PDF outlining which countries are eligible for the discounted registration fees.
**ESMO Members must be under 40 and in training to qualify for this fee.

Confirmation

By end-May 2024, delegates will receive an email confirming registration containing access instructions for the ESMO Gynaecological Cancers Congress 2024.
