Abstracts fall within 3 main categories; oral presentations, poster presentations and rapid fire presentations. Further details can be found below. Presentation Types Oral presentations will be provided the opportunity to present as part of the main programme, including Q&A. Poster presentations will have work displayed in the poster village. There will be dedicated poster walks throughout this area and interactive screens where further engaging conversations can take place. Rapid fire presentations will be held within dedicated theatres on the exhibition floor during conference breaks. These snappy, engaging sessions provide the opportunity to present an overview of your work in a more relaxed environment creating conversation amongst like minded groups. You will then also have the opportunity to partake in a poster walk later that day where you can discuss your work in more detail. Abstract Themes We invite you to submit abstracts under the following themes:
Abstract Prizes The prizes listed below are awarded at the Fertility Conference for outstanding work as judged by a panel during the conference. If you are a member of ARCS, BFS or SRF, you will be given the opportunity to nominate your abstract for one of the societies’ prizes on the submission form. The prizes are awarded to the presenting author only. The presenting author must fit the criteria for consideration including active membership of the relevant society.
ARCS Pre-Registration Presenting author must be a trainee.
ARCS Post-Registration Presenting author must be qualified.
ARCS Iwan Lewis Jones Prize Presenting author must work in an andrology specialism.
BFS Best Young Scientist Awarded for work undertaken within the preceding 5 years of the meeting. Presenting author must be a non-clinician.
BFS Best Early Career Clinician Awarded for work undertaken within the preceding 5 years of the meeting. Presenting author must be below consultant level (or equivalent).
BFS Nursing Award Awarded for the best abstract. Presenting author must be a nurse.
SRF Post-Doctoral Scientist Prize Previous recipients of this award who have won in the last two years are not eligible. Presenting author must be a Post-Doctorate.
SRF PhD Student Prize Previous recipients of this award who have won in the last two years are not eligible. Presenting author must be a PhD Student.
