The EFSMA Congress invites researchers, practitioners, and professionals in the field of sports medicine and exercise science to submit abstracts for consideration. This biennial event serves as a premier platform for the dissemination of cutting-edge research, innovative practices, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Abstracts can only be submitted online on the event website. Prior online registration of at least one of the authors is required to upload the abstract (no pre-payment is necessary in order to send your abstracts). Deadline for abstract submission: May 01, 2025 You can check if the summary has been correctly uploaded and/or make changes by accessing the Abstracts page in the “Participant profile” section. Any changes or corrections can be made until May 01, 2025, after that date you will no longer be able to modify the abstract. There is no limit to the number of abstracts a participant can submit. The abstracts will be evaluated by the Scientific Committee and the communication of acceptance will be sent as soon as possible to the participant that uploaded the abstract. Contact InformationFor queries related to abstract submissions, please contact: Join us at the EFSMA Congress to share your insights, expand your knowledge, and contribute to the advancement of sports medicine and exercise science. By submitting an abstract, all authors allow the organizers to publish it in the conference materials and/or on the website (and by doing so, certify that the abstract is original work). Abstracts must be uploaded by the announced deadline. After the deadline, they will no longer be considered. Presenters of accepted abstracts will not be exempted from paying the participation fee or other travel expenses (accommodation, transportation, etc. – if they opt for ONSITE participation). The authors presenting the abstracts must be registered and confirmed participants. You can send the summary only by uploading it to your participant account – use the email address and password received during registration to log in. Dear Colleagues, On behalf of the European Federation of Sports Medicine Associations (EFSMA) and of the Romanian Sports Medicine Society, we kindly invite you to the 13th EFSMA Congress of Sports Medicine , which will take place at Crowne Plaza Hotel, 25-27 September 2025, in Bucharest, Romania. Organized under the motto “Sharing Knowledge beyond Information”, the program will feature a series of current topics and practical experiences in sports medicine, including sports cardiology, traumatology, sports science, physical medicine and rehabilitation, doping, sports physiology, physiotherapy, brought by guest lecturers from across Europe. The structure of the congress will include conferences, symposia, workshops, oral presentations, e-posters, and specialized exhibitions. As such, it will be an opportunity to share best practices, further expand our common European knowledge, and widen professional networks. Dating back from 1932, the Romanian Society of Sports Medicine has an extensive experience in organizing national and international congresses. Hosting the European congress will be a rewarding experience, building on a long tradition in sports medicine, as well as an opportunity to welcome you in a city which was once known as the “Little Paris” and is now once again experiencing a vibrant cultural and scientific life. Registration fee includes: participation in all sessions listed in the program of the congress, congress materials, access to coffee breaks, Certificate of Attendance (EACCME), access to Welcome Cocktail (September 25, 2025, 19:30) Payment of registration fees can be made online on our secure server by credit/debit card (MasterCard and VISA). Accepted cards are MasterCard and VISA. For online payment – please log in to your user account and access the “Billing and payments” section in the “User Profile” menu (up right side of the website page). It is also very important to make the payment from the account or with the card related to the legal entity so, that the invoice can be issued in accordance with the payer. Required billing information: legal entity name (as it appears on the proof of payment), fiscal code/registration number, town and name of the person for whom the registration was made. Your registration will only be validated when full payment is received.
