ABSTRACT GUIDELINES

• Abstracts should be submitted via the web site by June 1, 2024.
• All accepted abstracts are expected to be presented in person at the SRU 2024 Annual Meeting. Presenting authors will be provided complimentary registration.
   
• Scientific Presentation abstracts should use the format below: 
  
  • Purpose
  • Methods
  • Results
  • Conclusions
• Maximum abstract length: 400 words, not including title, authors, purpose, images, tables, graphics, and charts.
• Multiple abstracts on different topics may be submitted.
• Only 4 files can be submitted and are encouraged if relevant to the research. Files are to be submitted as separate files. Acceptable files to support the research are tables, charts, graphics, and images. Image file requirements are as follows:
  
  • Minimum file resolution is 1000 x 1000 pixels
  • Maximum file size is 10 megabytes.

Letter From the SRU President and Program Chair

As President and Program Committee Chair of the Society of Radiologists in Ultrasound, we would like to invite you to join us at the 34th Annual Meeting and Postgraduate Course of the SRU, to be held September 27-29, at the Hyatt Regency Seattle, Seattle, WA.

Our Program Committee has created an outstanding roster of speakers with a wide variety of Ultrasound topics. Our two-and-a-half-day program is filled with opportunities for networking and learning. We are excited to announce this as the first year the SRU opened its membership to Sonographers and Scientists and the content of the meeting will reflect this change. Dedicated subspeciality sessions in the following areas will be available: Head & Neck, GYN, OB, Vascular, MSK, GI, GU, and Pediatrics. Teaching on contrast-enhanced ultrasound will be integrated throughout the course. Additionally, a forward-looking plenary session, a dynamic rapid-fire case review session, a scientific session, and a session dedicated to challenging and enriching non-interpretive topics will round out the program. Join us at #SRU24 and listen to the world experts on routine and advanced ultrasound topics.

The Hyatt Regency Seattle is located in downtown Seattle with walkable access to world class restaurants and tourism sites, including the original Starbucks and the famous Pike Place Market.
